  16. In RODEO GAMES, you'll compete in six different cowboy competitions. Test 
  17. your reflexes with trick shooting and knife throwing. Rope calves, wrestle 
  18. steers, bust a bronco, and finally, rescue the stagecoach.

  21. STARTING RODEO GAMES
  22.  
  23. When you first load RODEO GAMES, you will see the Options menu. Type [2] to 
  24. calibrate your joystick, if you are using one. Move the joystick, up, down, 
  25. left, and right, pressing the [FIRE] button after each direction. Type [1] to 
  26. begin the game. To quit at any time press [ESC] to return to the Options menu 
  27. and press [ESC] again to return to DOS.

  29. When you see the RODEO GAMES title screen, press any key to begin. Then press 
  30. [ENTER] to go to the player selection screen. Press [1] - [4] to choose the 
  31. number of players. Type your name, press [ENTER], and type [Y] when asked 
  32. "Correct?"

  34. Select which events you want to play with the number keys [1] - [6]. Press 
  35. [ENTER] when done. To select the input device, press [1] for keyboard or 
  36. [3] for joystick.

  41. KEYBOARD & JOYSTICK CONTROLS

  43. If you're using the keyboard, use the arrow keys to move and the spacebar 
  44. to fire.

  46. Trick Shooting 
  47. In Part 1 of this competition, shoot the bad guys (the ones in black) when 
  48. they pop up. Be careful, however, not to shoot women, sheriffs, or civilians. 
  49. In Part 2, shoot the bottles after they're thrown in the air.

  54. Knife Throwing 
  55. Throw your knives at the spinning target without hitting your assistant. 
  56. The closer you get to her, the higher your score. But watch out -- if you 
  57. hit your assistant things could get ugly!

  61. Calf Roping
  62. Press [FIRE] to open the gate and the race is on! Chase the calf around the 
  63. ring and, when you're close enough, slip the lasso over his head and pull 
  64. him to a halt. The fastest time wins.

  81. Steer Wrestling 
  82. This time, when you're close enough to the steer, jump on it and grab its 
  83. horns! Wrestle him to the ground as quickly as possible.

  87. Left/right     Wrestle the steer (wiggle back and forth)

  91. Bronco Riding 
  92. Pit your stamina and balance against an ornery bucking bronco and hold on 
  93. until the dust settles. Push the joystick or arrow keys in the opposite 
  94. direction of the arrows highlighted onscreen. The longer you stay on, the 
  95. higher your score.

  101. Stagecoach Rescue 
  102. Some varmint has hijacked the stage! Race after him as fast as you 
  103. can, but watch out for the luggage he's throwing at you. Climb aboard the 
  104. stage and duke it out with the villain. Time is of the essence!

  106. Left + Right arrows     Make horse run faster (wiggle back and forth)
  107. Up + Down arrows        Move horse up and down

  121. At the end of each event you will be asked if you want to replay it. Type [Y] 
  122. to replay or [N] to move on to the next contest. At the end of all 6 events, 
  123. you will see your score for the rodeo. Hit [FIRE] and [SPACE] to return to 
  124. the title screen.
